Mr. Jegadeesan is a Senior Advisor for Oaktree’s Global Opportunities strategy and is based in the firm’s Houston office. Mr. Jegadeesan joined Oaktree in 2018 and brings nearly two decades of experience across operations, engineering, investing, and asset management within the oil and gas sector. He currently serves as a director on the boards of Battalion Oil Corporation and Sierra Energy Holdings and has previously served on the board of Purewest Energy. Prior to his tenure at Oaktree, Mr. Jegadeesan held various engineering, leadership, asset development, and operational roles at W.D. Von Gonten and Company, Nutech Energy Alliance, and Schlumberger Technology Corporation. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Houston.
