David McKellips serves as the Vice President Commercial for Williams’ Gathering & Processing business, which operates in the most prolific natural gas basins in the United States. Before assuming his current role, David directed the Strategy & Market Intelligence team responsible for leading Williams’ corporate strategy, strategic risks, market analytics, long-range financial plan and proprietary view on market fundamentals.

Throughout his career, David has held various leadership positions in commercial and business development, taking on roles of increasing responsibility. He began his journey at Williams as an intern and later joined the company's professional development rotational program.

He has served in several leadership positions on non-profit and industry organizations such as Texas TicKids, Kendall Whittier Main Street, GPA Midstream Association Program Committee and the Houston GPA Midstream Association. He is passionate about career development and mentorship, contributing to the Williams Onboarding Steering Committee, the Williams Employee Development Council, and participating in the OSU Spears School of Business mentoring program since 2016.

David holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance and an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He resides in Tulsa with his wife and children.
