Geoff Vernon serves as Vice President, Business Development for Chord Energy. Mr. Vernon has more than 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Development, for Permian Resources.
Mr. Vernon joined Earthstone Energy in 2018 and served as Vice President, Reservoir Engineering and A&D prior to the merger with Permian Resources in 2023. Prior to joining Earthstone, Mr. Vernon held positions of increasing responsibility with Southwestern Energy and BP.
Mr. Vernon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
